Labor Day weekend was spent in an amazing log home in the middle of nowhere in Catskills with a group of friends. A three hour drive can do so much to your surroundings. We were situated right by Tunis Lake but I was too scared to swim in it due to my fear of deep water. On one night we had reservations at Stone & Thistle Farm where we first went on a tour (no one had suitable footwear whatsoever for walking in dirt and possibly poo) and then had a fantastically farm fresh, five course, home cooked meal. On the last night, we stayed in due to the storm and had a huge family dinner. Good times!
