It's so hard to stay away from doing these Foodie Penpal swaps because while it is always fun for me to pick out things for someone else, it's also extremely fun to receive snacks that someone else thinks you'd love. This month April from The Eternal Optimist Mama sent me my package and I was very excited to see what she came up with!
April sent me a box full of her favorite things found at her favorite food market. I was happy to see that I have not tried any of these things or heard of them! The first thing I pulled out was KellBran's Sweet & Salty Popcorn. I mentioned in my email to April that I love popcorn and this is really awesome. I also received Fruitzio dried peaches which I wanted to save to add into cereal or yogurt but I couldn't hold out. They taste great on their own. I highly recommend these!
I'm a big fan of bars that I can just throw in my bag and have with me at work or on the go. I've never tried ProBar's until now and they surely didn't disappoint. The Halo S'mores bar was amazing and the Fruition Strawberry one was a good addition too! I was so happy with these!
The big surprise of the package was this jar of Frontera Key Lime Avocado Salsa. I am pretty basic when it comes to salsa so April really challenged me on this one to try some new kind of salsa that I never knew existed. This was truly a well thought out Foodie Penpal package that I appreciate so much! I was surprised and happy with everything so thank you April for "figuring me out" on a foodie level!
